Avelon Group Pty Ltd (ABN 97 702 529 833) trading as Avelon Group (“Avelon Group”, “we”, “us” or “our”) is committed to protecting the privacy of all individuals whose personal information we collect and handle. This Privacy Policy explains how we manage personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).

Where we engage third-party service providers whose systems are located outside Australia, we take reasonable steps to ensure that any overseas disclosure complies with the APPs, including APP 8.

Under the APPs, you generally have the right to access the personal information we hold about you and to seek its correction. To request access or correction, please email us at ceo@avelongroup.site. We will respond to your request within a reasonable period. There is no charge for making a request, although we may charge a reasonable fee for providing a copy of the information, which we will notify to you before proceeding.

If we refuse to give you access to, or correct, your personal information, we will give you a written explanation of the reasons and inform you of the mechanisms available to complain about the refusal.

If you have any concerns about how we have handled your personal information, please contact us first at ceo@avelongroup.site so that we can try to resolve the matter. We will acknowledge your complaint and aim to provide a substantive response within 30 days.

Where it is lawful and practicable, you may deal with us anonymously or using a pseudonym, for example when browsing our website. However, in most cases we need your contact details in order to respond to enquiries, prepare quotes or provide services.
